Dad Won't Let Go of Meg's Yo-Yo app for iPhone and iPad

When Meg’s father gives her a yo-yo, Meg is glad until Dad shows off all his tricks on the yo-yo. Dad says, “Not yet,” to Meg, making her wait for her gift. Does Meg get mad? Does Dad give the yo-yo back to Meg? Beginning readers will find out by reading easy, one-syllable words in this delightful picture book.

Also included are ten different interactive activities for young readers to practice reading skills and improve comprehension and retention. Using different color crayons, the child can match rhyming words or pictures, find hidden words in a matrix of letters and answer simple questions. Completed pages can be saved, emailed or printed.

Both the author, Mrs. K, a reading and writing teacher, and the illustrator, Mrs. A, an art teacher, hold master’s degrees in education. Mrs. K has 15 years tutoring experience and 7 years of public school and university teaching. Mrs. A has more than 30 years teaching experience, and has published cartoons, greeting cards and advertising illustrations.
